He was as quick as I was when I grabbed the mouse.
Then it was the demon’s turn to beg the fisherman, not
to be imprisoned for another thousand years.They found
an agreement, and the fisherman became very rich and
even a friend of the sultan.

There is also a city turned to stone together
with all its inhabitants, but there are no
fishermen or cats in that part of the story.
