retold by colored plates in their first book of
fairy-tales. I am proud to have suggested my
story-tellers Adalinda and Claudia to animate his
seven pictures (see Crane’s pictures at pages 68-
83). This Victorian artist devoted his life to spread
beauty and art, and I think he will be pleased to
