He said that he could not live without me, and
moreover,if I should die, he would embalm me, like
the Ancient Egyptians. They were a truly evolved
people, thinking of their high esteem for cats. Then
one day I pretended to be dead, and the princess,
who saw me, called my master. Instead of
embalming me he told her to grab me by a paw
and throw me out of the window. Alas! After
everything I managed to get for him, he was
going to throw me where one tosses the garbage
and empties the chamber pots! How many curse
words I swore before leaving him forever! I could
not listen any more to that lying ungrateful
parvenu pleading me to come back and
apologizing. What the hell? I would have liked
him to change back into the poor mangy devil he
was, so that the disgruntled princess _____
