the fire to warm themselves.
-Tonight, you will sleep here.
Then the blacksmith left the shop and went to his
house. He took a plate of cod and a flask of wine
and brought them to his workshop where they all
ate and drank together.
After dinner, the blacksmith went home, while
Jesus and his companions stayed in the workshop.
In the morning, as soon as daylight came, the
blacksmith went to his forge.
St. Peter, who was with Jesus, said to him:
- Ask Jesus for a grace, for He is our Master.
So the blacksmith went before the Master and
told Him:
- Master, grant me a grace.
The Master answered him:
-Tell me what grace you wish to receive.
