dog of the baker girl is a fine
hunting dog! Nevertheless we have
many fine hunting dogs, and this is
just another one”. Then he looked at
the butcheress’ dog and said, “This is
also a fine dog, a guard dog, but we
do not need it, because we have so
many servants and soldiers to guard
us, that a guard dog would be quite
useless.
When he looked at the dog raised by
the frog, he exclaimed, “Oh, what a
pretty doggie!” It was indeed a very
nice dog, tidy and smart, a darling
